'El mejor escondite del mundo' ('The best hideaway in the world')

is a children’s book written and illustrated by hand for a contest named “A la Orilla del Viento” of Fondo de Cultura Económica located in Mexico City.

It has 20 pages with watercolor illustrations in each one of them.

Cybele is an afro little girl who wants to hide because everybody laughs about her big afro.

So she starts looking for the best hideaway in the world and on her way, Cybele discovers that other kids are also hidden for different

reasons.

 

Will she find the perfect hiding place for her?
