My name is Jaque Jours. I'm a Mexican illustrator who likes to write and paint stories with traditional techniques.

I've worked on projects for brands, independent children's books authors and editorial illustration for periodicals and digital projects.

In 2023, I was awarded a FONCA (National Foundation for the Arts and Culture) fellowship by the Mexican Government to make my second picture book: Los Muégano, a story about a Mexican family.

I studied Architecture & Interior Design and I'm currently working on my thesis to obtain a Masters Degree in Literature. Both things led me to discover my passion for painting and illustrating books.

I’m always looking for new projects, so feel free to drop me a message so we can work together.
