My name is Jaque (almost pronounced like Jackie) Jours. I'm a Mexican illustrator who likes to write and paint stories with traditional techniques.

I've worked on projects for brands, independent children's books authors and editorial illustration for periodicals and digital projects.
In 2023, I was awarded a FONCA (National Foundation for the Arts and Culture) fellowship by the Mexican Government to make my first picture book: The Muéganos.
I studied Architecture & Interior Design, and I'm currently working on my thesis to obtain a Master’s Degree in Literature. Both things led me to discover my passion for painting and illustrating books.
